Prague Quadrennial (PQ) is the largest international showcase of the fields of scenography, performance design, and performance space.
Our installation, Can You Hear Me, showcased the "Rare" in community within the United States. We connected with our community to borrow an artifact of great importance of their life and conducted both videos, audio recordings, and in-person conversations telling their story about the artifact. We placed these items among collections of trash, political signage, up-cycled and reused goods. Hiding them in plain sight. Viewers then got to engage with the items and find the artifacts and listen to the stories.
